23-Year-Old PA Man ID'd After Fatal Crash Into Tree: Coroner

A 23-year-old man was killed in a crash into a tree, according to an updated release by the York County Coroner's Office on June 12.

Daniel Antos Jr., of the 100 block of Twin Hills Road in Franklin Township died at the scene of the crash.

Deputy Coroner Michele Kirchner was called to the scene to investigate at 8:03 p.m. and certified the death at 8:45 p.m. on June 5, as detailed in the release.

Daniel had been driving south on Route 74, when he left the road for an unknown reason and struck a tree, as explained by the coroner's office. 

EMS was first called to 259 Old York Road/Rt 74 in Carroll Township, Dillsburg at 7:50 p.m., according to York County Wide Communications. 

Daniel " was the son of Michelle Lushia and Daniel Antos Sr. Daniel Jr. leaves to cherish his memory, his brother, Benjamin Antos," as stated in his obituary posted on York Daily Record and York Dispatch
